About the Company
Saify is a Japanese self-custody crypto wallet whose site pitches it as a wallet with changeable skins. Users can switch themes at no cost, or buy kisekae NFT skins in the Saify Store from 100 yen, payable in JPYC, a yen-denominated stablecoin. Wallet creation takes about ten seconds and needs no email address, and the wallet works with Ethereum, Polygon and other major EVM-compatible chains.
Instead of writing down keys, Saify Backup relies on a phone number and a secret QR code, a method the site says is covered by Japanese patent No. 7850899. Saify Security simulates transactions before they are signed and automatically blocks dangerous NFTs and tokens. Its FAQ says the wallet is non-custodial, so a third party cannot freeze it.
