About the Company
Ryder One is a crypto hardware wallet that keeps private keys inside an Infineon EAL6+ certified secure element. It talks to a phone only through encrypted NFC, with no Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or USB data connection, and every transaction is shown on its 1.6-inch AMOLED screen and needs a physical confirmation. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and Stacks are supported, along with many Ethereum and Solana tokens.
Its TapSafe recovery uses Shamir Secret Sharing to split a backup between Recovery Tags, the phone and chosen Recovery Contacts, though the seed phrase can still be revealed in settings. According to its website, Halborn audited the device from October to December 2025 and reported no critical or high findings. The company raised a $3.2M seed round led by Tim Draper (self-reported); bundles start at $149.
