About the Company
Petra is a wallet built for Aptos, available as a browser extension, a mobile app and a web version called Petra Web. Users can buy, swap and send assets, stake APT through native staking management, and connect to Aptos trading, DeFi and minting apps from a single interface.
Accounts can be created by importing a private key or logging in with Google or Apple, and Ledger hardware wallets are supported. Petra Web offers a self-custodial account from an email sign-up with no seed phrase, plus an optional mnemonic backup for recovery and key rotation. In-app long, short and market perpetual orders run on Decibel, an onchain trading engine. Its legal links point to Aptos Labs.
