About the Company
FunJoin is a software company that sells mobile-first registration and management software to summer camps and other activity-based businesses. Its platform covers day camps, overnight camps, after-school programs, childcare, clubs and sports, fitness and academic programs, giving operators one system for sign-ups, scheduling, attendance and payments.
The product followed three years of development and real-world testing. The company describes its mission as building software that automates, mobilizes and makes fun easier, and says it keeps designs simple and user-focused.
- Customer Hub: a portal where families register, manage accounts, sign documents and reschedule
- Admin Panel: scheduling, attendance, financial reports, user permissions, communication tools and registration flows
- Employee Mobile App: attendance tracking, payments and schedule changes for staff
- Attendance logging: by QR scanner or IN and OUT buttons
- Flexible payments: scheduled payments, prepaid credits and custom packages processed through Stripe, with a separate Stripe account for each business
- Data import service: migration of existing records into the platform
Customers can self-schedule and reschedule, while administrators can override once the customer window closes. Onboarding follows three steps: a short Zoom demo, selection of a pricing tier, then onboarding and launch. According to the FAQ, basic payment setup takes two to three hours and registrations typically go live within two to ten business days depending on scope. A custom URL and a kickoff meeting are included in the one-time setup fee.
FunJoin displays a HIPAA compliance badge and publishes a change log and knowledge base for users. Its marketing cites up to 10x efficiency gains and up to 30 percent sales growth (self-reported). A free tier can be applied for, while paid licenses are non-refundable unless the contract states otherwise.
