About the Company
Digital Shield is a Hong Kong-based maker of crypto hardware wallets, with companion mobile apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Its devices keep private keys on a chip described as CC EAL6+ certified and sign transactions offline, using QR codes to pass data to the phone app.
Press releases from the company say the wallet natively handles 12 major blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON, covering more than 3,000 tokens. The flagship Digital Shield Pro was introduced at TOKEN2049 and is described as compatible with over 50 wallet protocols such as MetaMask and imToken. KuCoin Pay has also published a joint announcement with the brand around self-custody payments.
