About the Company
Burner is a compact hardware wallet that works in the browser with no app, signs transactions with a tap and is protected by a PIN that locks after too many failed attempts. Its pitch is gifting: a person loads it with crypto and hands it over, and the recipient never has to deal with a seed phrase. The firmware is open source and uses the same type of secure chips found in high-end hardware wallets.
The range is split by use. Burner BTC is for stacking and gifting sats, Burner ETH handles tokens, stablecoins and dApps through WalletConnect, and Burner Terminal accepts stablecoin payments. The site lists Arx Research, Inc. as the copyright holder. Stablecoins such as USDC and USDT are the suggested gift assets.
