About the Company
Brave Wallet is a self-custody wallet that ships inside the Brave browser on desktop and mobile, so no extension has to be installed. It stores tokens and NFTs, connects to dApps and shows NFTs in a multi-chain gallery. Supported networks named on the site are Solana, Ethereum and other EVM chains, Filecoin and Zcash, where both transparent and shielded transactions are available.
Users can buy crypto by card or bank transfer, and market data comes from CoinGecko. Ledger and Trezor hardware wallets work on desktop, with mobile support listed as coming soon. Brave says the code is open source and audited, and that the wallet is free, although network fees and some swap or purchase fees apply. Swaps rely on an integrated DEX aggregator.
