About the Company

Institutional Vault is a self-hosted multi-party computation (MPC) wallet from Blockdaemon, aimed at custodians, exchanges and other institutions. Signing key shares live on machines the customer runs, whether on-premises, in public clouds or in a hybrid setup, and transaction approvals are handled through mobile apps. It was previously known as Blockdaemon Wallet and, before that, Sepior.

Blockdaemon states that it never holds or sees key shares, and the product offers optional air-gapped storage plus deployment scripts for AWS Nitro and Microsoft Azure. Supported assets include BTC, ETH, SOL, DOT and ERC-20 tokens, and it connects to Blockdaemon's staking and RPC services. Canton Network support was added later for Canton Coin transfers.
