About the Company
Bearby is a self-custodial multi-currency wallet delivered as a browser extension and as iOS and Android apps. Keys are generated and stored only on the user's device, and signing happens locally. It supports native Bitcoin, Ethereum and EVM networks including Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche, Linea, BNB Chain and Zilliqa, with custom RPC for others and a built-in dApp browser.
Its security design is the main differentiator: stored keys are encrypted with NTRU Prime, AES-256 and Kuznechik, using Argon2id key derivation, and the core engine is written in Rust with the code published on GitHub. The site lists more than 100,000 Google Play downloads, 40,000 on the App Store and 30,000 on the Chrome Web Store (self-reported), and announces a Bearby Card as coming soon.
