About the Company
Arculus is a cold-storage crypto wallet made by CompoSecure. It pairs a metal Arculus Key Card with a mobile app for iOS and Android, and the card communicates with the phone over NFC, so no cables or batteries are involved. Private keys are generated and kept inside a CC EAL6+ secure element on the card and are not exported from it.
Every transaction is approved with three factors: a biometric check on the phone, a six-digit PIN, and a tap of the card against the device. The card ships with its firmware locked, which the company says prevents altered code from being loaded later. Third-party profiles list Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Cardano and Litecoin among supported assets, and the product is marketed for protecting both coins and NFTs.
