About the Company
RareSkills is a Web3 education company, operated as RareSkills LLC, that trains blockchain developers and auditors. It sells paid bootcamps, publishes free written material and practice exercises, and offers career services, auditing connections and engineering training for companies.
Its bootcamp catalogue spans smart-contract engineering, zero-knowledge proofs, Rust and testing. The Advanced Solidity and DeFi Bootcamp runs 13 weeks under instructor Jeffrey Scholz, the ZK Bootcamp runs 14 weeks under Joao Paulo Morais, and the Rust Bootcamp runs 3 weeks under Daniel Cumming. Further programs cover Uniswap V3 (12 weeks), Circom (7 weeks) and Invariant Testing (5 weeks, taught by Alex The Entreprenerd). Free resources include a Learn Solidity guide, a ZK book and a 60 Days of Solana tutorial, and the site hosts hundreds of no-login exercises, among them more than 80 Yul puzzles and over 700 Rust exercises in its RareCode subscription.

The engineering training section names Matter Labs (zkSync), Chainlink and Lido as organisations that use it. Its homepage also shows logos under a banner saying engineers at top Web3 companies have studied at RareSkills, including Ethereum Foundation, Consensys, OpenZeppelin, Chainlink Labs, Lido, Coinbase, Polygon, Binance and J.P. Morgan.
According to its website, alumni include a Cantina security hacker with over 900,000 dollars in earnings and a co-founder of Kwenta (self-reported). The site cites Uniswap V3 as holding over 2.5 billion dollars in total value locked and notes Rust's ranking as the most loved language in Stack Overflow's survey for seven years running, as reasons for the curriculum focus.
