About the Company
ProMerit is a Canadian Amazon management agency founded in 2015 by Dave St-Gelais and Jonathan Boulanger. Based in Lévis, Quebec, with offices in Montreal and Toronto, it runs brands' sales on Amazon in Canada, the United States and Europe, and is expanding to Walmart and Costco.
ProMerit works under two business models. In its Strategic Partnership, it buys the client's inventory upfront and then handles purchasing, storage, logistics, returns, advertising and sales from its Canadian warehouse, while the brand keeps control of its identity. The company states there are no commissions or monthly fees in this model. In Flexible Account Management, it manages the client's Amazon account for a monthly service fee and acts as an extension of the client's team using data-driven optimization. In the partnership model ProMerit invests in advertising, manages tax and duty compliance and produces content at its own expense.
