Mosaic Events

Mosaic Events is a boutique, full-service event planning firm focused on corporate events for associations, nonprofits and small businesses. Founded in 2011 by Stephanie Barkley, CMP, it describes itself as one of the top event planning companies in Calgary and also serves Vancouver, Edmonton and Toronto.

Clients can book individual pieces of a project or hand over the full event. The firm takes on a limited number of projects each year and works through a four-stage method called The Mosaic Way: discovery of goals, audience and event history; defining objectives, milestones and timelines; development of the project plan, budget and logistics; and delivery, including documentation and running the program.

Event types include corporate events, product launches, annual general meetings, training seminars, board meetings, off-site meetings, conferences and networking events. Support covers agenda creation, speaker management and schedule control.

Founder Stephanie Barkley has more than 20 years in event and travel management, holds a degree in hotel and resort management from the University of Calgary and is a Certified Meeting Professional and former president of the Meeting Professionals International Greater Calgary chapter. The firm reports more than 100 events, over 40,000 guests and over $500K in sponsorship raised (self-reported).
