About the Company
Labbrand Malaysia is the Kuala Lumpur office of Labbrand, a multinational brand consultancy founded in Shanghai in 2005. It serves listed companies, startups and other organisations across Malaysia and Southeast Asia with brand strategy, consumer research, innovation consulting, naming and visual identity work.
The Malaysia team is led by Eileen Tang, Founder and Managing Director, who has over a decade of experience in insights and innovation across Asia. Its approach is insight-led, combining strategic thinking with execution and drawing on consumer insights, ethnographic research and semiotics. Labbrand describes localized branding as a strength, rooted in its Chinese origins. The wider group is headquartered in Shanghai with offices in Paris, New York, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, and says it has more than 100 employees. It is part of the Labbrand Group, which also includes Madjor and SpringPillar.
