About the Company
Gauntlet is a DeFi risk and yield-curation firm that builds onchain yield strategies for institutions. Its customers include capital allocators, fintechs, exchanges, wallets and stablecoin issuers, and its research roots go back to 2018, when it began modeling risk for lending protocols and exchanges.
The company applies quantitative optimization, simulation and research drawn from quantitative finance and high-frequency trading to economic problems in DeFi. Its team combines data scientists, Solidity engineers, economists and trading veterans, and it describes market monitoring as running around the clock. According to its website, its infrastructure refreshes more than 400 million data points a day across more than a dozen Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks. Gauntlet also publishes research and says it has developed models for virtually every primitive in DeFi.

The site names Morpho, Aave, Compound, Uniswap and NEAR among the protocols it works with, and lists integrations with Trust Wallet, Coinbase, Circle, Ledger, Phantom, OKX, Anchorage Digital, Privy, Bitget and others. One case study describes KAST using Gauntlet USD Alpha to offer stablecoin yield to roughly 500,000 users across Morpho and Pendle on Ethereum, Base, Optimism and Arbitrum. Another covers Gauntlet USDT vaults on Morpho absorbing $775 million in new supply in October 2025. Security monitoring involves partners such as Hypernative, ZeroShadow and Chainalysis.
Gauntlet reports more than $1.8 billion in capital allocated to its vaults and over 150 integrations with fintechs and institutions (self-reported). Its website also cites $42 billion in client assets protected and names Ribbit, Polychain, Coinbase, Standard Crypto and Paradigm as investors.
