About the Company
Grafico, known online as Design Grafico, is a brand strategy, design and digital studio based in Mont-Royal, Quebec, in the Montreal area. Founded in 1998 by creative director Tony Moriello, it works with businesses and agencies across Quebec and beyond on branding, packaging and digital experiences.
The studio describes its philosophy as good design that feels human, built on empathy and collaboration with clients. Projects follow four steps: Discovery, Strategy, Design and Deployment. Deployment covers brand guidelines, organized assets and systems built to scale. Brand strategy begins with research, workshops and positioning to define what makes a brand distinct, and that groundwork then guides the visual and verbal decisions that follow.
- Brand strategy: research, workshops and positioning
- Brand identity: flexible, cohesive brand systems that go beyond a logo
- Packaging design: packaging that balances emotional appeal with function and shelf presence
- Digital: websites, content, automation and analytics
- Creative Partnership: a monthly plan that works as an extended in-house design department
The portfolio names clients including BeaverTails, Saputo, SAQ, SAP, Rio Tinto, Sushi Shop, Canada Nut, Copper Branch Power Foods, Wetzel's, Bad Monkey Popcorn, nuPasta, SPVM, Centech, Italbec and L2 Bubble Tea, among others. Many are food and beverage brands, alongside technology, mining and public-sector names.
The studio's team includes Tony Moriello as founder and creative director, Orlando Grunewald as art director, Juline Merlet as graphic and motion designer, Bobby Audet as web developer, and Emily Castro as brand coordinator.
