About the Company
Dan Gilroy Design LLC is a web design studio in the United States that works exclusively with law firms. Founded in 2004, it builds custom WordPress websites for practices ranging from solo attorneys to firms with more than 40 lawyers, and pairs design with content writing, search visibility and identity work.
Every engagement is led by founder Dan Gilroy, who spent three years with the Senate Finance Committee and thirteen at White & Case and Patton Boggs in Washington, D.C., and who is a policy professional rather than an attorney. Longtime development, identity and search collaborators join a project when it calls for them. The process begins with a Zoom call and a written proposal covering site structure, responsibilities, included services, schedule and fee. After a signed agreement, a 50% initial payment and a questionnaire, the studio presents one initial design as a fully coded, password-protected website. The firm sends consolidated feedback, the agreed changes are made on the working site, and a responsive page system is completed. Launch follows final approval and the remaining 50% payment, after pre-launch checks of forms, links, responsive behavior, accessibility, metadata, structured data and content migration.
