Concentric Design

Concentric Design is a branding and graphic design studio with offices in Chicago and Boulder, Colorado. It partners with clients on brand identity, web, print and presentation design, and creative strategy. The studio describes itself as small and low-overhead, working with organizations from first-year nonprofits to Fortune 500 companies.

The studio is led by Blair Hannah, founder and managing partner in Chicago, who manages business goals and project progress and previously worked as a marketing director, and Jeff Meador, founder and creative director in Boulder, an award-winning graphic designer with over 15 years of experience with large brands. Developers, copywriters and artists are brought in per project so that clients pay only for the skills they need. The studio says it does not upsell and aims to deliver what each client actually needs, holding that great design should be accessible and authentic.

Featured projects include development support for the early childhood education nonprofit VOCEL, a wellness-focused CBD brand called Foy, the rebrand of the electronics marketplace Gadget Salvation, an identity for data center company Evocative, a website for aircraft part supplier Setna iO, and a visual identity for hedge fund Kodai Capital Management. One client reported that its redesigned site gathered 20 newsletter sign-ups on its first day, against about one per week before.
